Thank you for registering your interest in the Seasonal Workers Pilot Scheme.
We anticipate that, due to the shortages of labour in the UK, we will receive a large number of requests for "pilot workers”. In order to ensure a fair allocation of workers; the proposed process will be:
- We will, in due course, contact you with further information about the scheme, fees, your potential obligations under the scheme and to ask you to fill in a “pre-assessment” form.
- We will then gather this data to enable us to “score" Labour Users. Scoring will be based on weighted scores of the answers that you provided, the time you submitted your information, and will ensure that the pilot reaches all regions of the UK, across a broad selection of crop types and a broad selection of size of organisation. The scoring will also favour employers that can demonstrate good health & safety and worker welfare.
- We will then shortlist the proposed Labour Users and arrange to carry out an audit of these Labour Users and, if applicable, the proposed accommodation. This will be a more detailed evidence-based audit that will also verify the information already provided.
- Following a successful Labour User Audit, we will work with you with regards to timings and the number of pilot workers that we were able to allocate to you.
